We accept select Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs). Because EAP coverage can vary by employer and provider, please contact our office for more information and assistance verifying your benefits.
We also offer self-pay or pro-bono options for clients without insurance coverage or for those who prefer private pay.
If you’re unsure about your benefits or have questions about coverage, our office would be happy to help verify your insurance and connect you with the right counselor for your needs. Please contact the office at
334-358-2455 with any questions regarding insurance coverage. If you are unsure your insurance will cover counseling services, the following are questions you might ask:
1. Does the policy cover a Licensed Professional Counselor or Licensed Clinical Social Worker?
2. Does the policy have an annual deductible?
3. Does the policy have co-pay for mental health coverage and if so, how much is the co-pay?
4. How many sessions will the policy cover annually?
You might also ask your employer if you have an EAP Program that may cover 3 to 6 sessions. This coverage is outside of your mental health coverage.
PLEASE NOTE THAT INSURANCE COVERAGE HAS TO BE A MEDICAL NECESSITY, EXCEPT EAP PROGRAMS.
Good Faith Estimate Requirement
Under Section 2799B of the Public Health Service Act, health care providers and health care facilities are required to provide a good faith estimate of expected charges for items and services to individuals who are not enrolled in an insurance plan or coverage or a Federal health care program, or not seeking to file a claim with their plan or coverage. The Good Faith Estimate for Health Care Items indicates you are entitled to receive this “Good Faith Estimate” of what the charges could be for psychotherapy service provided to you.
